在 Genesis 出現流動性問題注資解困的 DCG，也是著名加密貨幣信託基金公司灰度（grayscale）的母公司，基金管理著價值 110 億美元的加密貨幣，也是除了中本聰以外、已知最大比特幣持有者。
而目前已知受 Genesis 最大影響的，應該是由著名雙胞胎 Winklevoss 兄弟創辦的交易所 Gemini，因為交易所的「Gemini Earn」服務其中一個外部服務提供者就是 Genesis，Gemini 稱預計事件會影響到對客戶的服務承諾，正積極與 Genesis 溝通希望能盡快解決事件，並表示這次事件沒有影響到交易所營運和其他服務。

幣安創辦人 CZ 隨後也在推特澄清，幣安交易所沒有與 Genesis 或者其他類似第三方押質產品合作，只有在用自己的節點進行鏈上質押。
